Saplings Class – Homework for Snow Day
Maths – Measure the deepest snow that you can find in your garden (in cm). Jot it down and bring into school when we return so that we can make a class pictogram.
Science – Bring some snow inside. What happens to it? Why? Can you devise a test to find out the best place to keep snow inside so that it melts as slowly as possible?
English – Write down some adjectives or adjectival phrases to describe the weather e.g. fluffy, white snowflakes, deep snow. I would like to make a class poem using these next week.
