"Wootton-by-Woodstock School is very much at the heart of our beautiful village. This is nowhere clearer than in the support provided by parents and the community as a whole for everything that we do. The Parrott & Lee Foundation, the Friends of Wootton School, the Church, many individual villagers and the Governors themselves all play a role in helping to make this small school everything that a village school should be, working with a Head Teacher and staff who are enthusiastic, effective and highly motivated.
"Recent developments have seen improvements to the fabric of the school, providing newly-refurbished classrooms, with state-of-the art ICT teaching aids and equipment, facilities for the disabled, as well as extra rooms for staff and small-group teaching. Also provided are additional facilities for both library and ICT which allow the School to play a broader role in the village community. Wootton-by-Woodstock School has also welcomed many children from outside the immediate community over the years. If you feel our school may be right for your child, please do not hesitate to contact Head Teacher Valerie Lucas."
