"Wootton-by-Woodstock School is very much at the heart of our beautiful village. This is nowhere clearer than in the support provided by parents and the community as a whole for everything that we do. The Parrott & Lee Foundation, the Friends of Wootton School, the Church, many individual villagers and the Governors themselves all play a role in helping to make this small school everything that a village school should be, working with a Head Teacher and staff who are enthusiastic, effective and highly motivated.

"Recent developments have seen improvements to the fabric of the school, providing newly-refurbished classrooms, with state-of-the art ICT teaching aids and equipment, facilities for the disabled, as well as extra rooms for staff and small-group teaching. Also provided are additional facilities for both library and ICT which allow the School to play a broader role in the village community. Wootton-by-Woodstock School has also welcomed many children from outside the immediate community over the years.
